This cottage is very open and bright. The family room is very comfortable with near new leather furniture. Sliding doors open into a large, beautiful, sunroom.

Enter through the back door and you are in the kitchen with near new appliances. Opposite to the kitchen is the family room.

There is a queen bed in the master bedroom that enters to the family room, the other bedroom has a double bed and opens into the kitchen area. Go up the stairs into the 220 square foot loft where there are 3 single beds, a queen, a portable air conditioner, small seating room and TV.

The highlight of the inside of this cottage is the sunroom. With glass windows from ceiling to almost floor, its like being outside without having to face any of the elements. It offers a westerly view of McPhee Bay; no doubt, sunsets from here are beautiful.

The front yard reminds me of what to expect at any popular resort. A gazebo with hydro on a patterned concrete platform, a large boardwalk along the waterfront and a fairly long dock. The only thing missing was the pool / activity boy and the bar tender. The water is shallow with a gradual dropoff and, for the most part, a hard sandy bottom. In addition, there is a big fire pit for those popular evening marsmallow roasts.

Between the amazing sun room and the beautifully manicured lawns, the only reason to be inside the cottage would be to perhaps prepare your meals, grab a drink or catch a few hours sleep. If you are looking for the resort style luxury at less than half the price, this is where you want to be. |
